You’ve heard about these Things right? Criminals who post selfies or geotag themselves as they engage in criminal activities and then immediately get busted?

They always seem somewhat baffled when their nerdy need to show off — no matter what they’re doing — lands them in jail.

Burglar Christopher Wallace just outdid them all.

He knew police were looking for him in connection with a burglary, so he went to his house Fairfield, Maine to hide. And then posted his location on Snapchat.

But it gets better.

When the police arrived and started to search the house, they noticed a brand new Snapchat post on the burglar’s account. Wallace bragged that the police were in his house looking for him, but he was cleverly hiding in a cabinet.

You can guess what happened next.

The moral of the story? Two Things: 1) don’t steal and 2) don’t be stupid.
